New Australian film by Warwick Thornton (same director as Samson & Delilah, which I never got round to seeing).

It's excellent. A Western of sorts, set in about the 1920s. The plot more or less boils down to an aboriginal man shooting a white man in self-defence then being tracked down and tried. Lots of expansive landscapes and brooding. Sam Neill is rather good as are the other actors, none of whom I really know. A few quite shocking moments including what I can only assume is some very accurate depiction of the kind of treatment aboriginal people received at the hands of the whites. Highly recommend this.
