They're also on YouTube (someone linked to one of them earlier in this thread). Here they are, one video per LP (i.e., two sides per video):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lhvt6n1rNN4

(Also available, I just noticed, at https://www.youtube.com/user/stryper42/videos as six videos, one per side.)

They seem to have disappeared, for some reason or other.

On the other hand, the Guide animations are superb and clearly a real labour of love. The Golgafrincham part of the story is also really well realised, and I'll get always get little misty-eyed at Ford and Arthur striking off into the unknown while "What A Wonderful World" plays.

Right at the end of the TV series, I remember Ford and Arthur walking off and then the scene slowly morphing into a page from the Book in green animation. Did that actually happen? I can't find a clip of it. I'm sure to get teary eyed if I watch it though.

Yes, they walk off into the distance, the song plays, the credits roll, then the image turns into an animation of itself in the book, with the caption 'Mostly Harmless' appearing, before the camera pulls out, showing it to be on the screen of the book as it goes into the distance in space, while a slower and louder refrain from the usual theme tune plays.
