OK yousuns I'll look into it.

I reckon Dropbox and Drive are out because there's too much of it, but I'll do a bit of sorting and see what I come up with.

Please recommend free hosting options in the meantime until I figure something out.

david duchovny's man-crush on larry.

"I know it's not a gay thing because the feelings I have when I'm with you, it's the kind I have with a woman I like. It's like a warmth or a buzz. It's definitely a heterosexual feeling, but it's directed at you."

Brilliant piece of writing. Another one that goes right by you is when Hank hires Brian as his assistant, and takes his concerns to Larry when he finally figures out the obvious.

"He's... a gay."
"I didn't know you were Italian."

I have almost a TB of space on my google drive. Maybe I could see about setting up a shared folder if you think it would fit.

Thanks dude. I didn't realise I have an abundance of spare GMails addresses, so I'm getting a folder synced now. It's gonna be a few days but I'll let you all know when it's ready to go. My upload speeds are dreadful.

I've been steadily working my way through these and every episode is outstanding.

"Jesus Hank! 4,000 copies? On the office printer? Paper doesn't grow on trees you know!"

Hello Internet friends.

I've got the link for the Larry Sanders extras ready to go. PM me if you're interested. It's ALMOST everything, except a few files that wouldn't rip properly. There's a feature length documentary, deleted scenes, interviews, visits, commentaries and easter egg things. All good gear.

QDRPHNC

Cheers! PMing you immediately.

Mr Banlon

Well, Rip Torn has carked it.

Sad news, although I can't be the only one thinking I'm surprised it took him this long.

Artie was the anchor of Larry Sanders, frequently getting the best lines :(

Shandling on Torn: https://youtu.be/aE8GUjT2vAc?t=197

'course I love him as one third of the greatest triumvirate of comedy characters on TV, but Coming Apart (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064180/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_143) is some genuinely fucking mind-bending shit.  These id monster type of men must be nightmares to live with, but I'm glad I get to admire them from afar.

Small Man Big Horse

Aw that's shitty, shitty news. I'm not shocked given his recent health but I loved Artie to pieces and Torn was incredible in the role, so it's really saddening to hear.

A great comic actor. Shame.

On leaking Hank's porno tape

Jeff - Artie, I can fix this.

Artie - Gee, I hope so buddy, cos you make me laugh and I'd sure hate to HAVE TO FIRE YOUR ASS !!!

There is a perfect line delivery by Rip that just made it stick with me over twenty years. Glad to have known h is work.

I've just been watching a few Larry Sanders on YouTube. Without doubt one of the very best sitcoms of all time. I remember being utterly baffled by it when it first appeared on late night BBC2 in the 90s but got into it around 2006/7 and consumed as many as I could find. Pretty sure there are still some episodes I've never seen which will be a real treat when I happen upon them.

It's a little sad watching them now knowing that Shandling and Torn are no longer with us and Tambor's been #cancelled.

I really enjoyed it first time round BUT it's funny how programmes that are as multi layered and subtle as this reveal themselves more as you get older. Like.. I thought all the daft stuff that Hank would say and do was hilarious when I was 20 but watching it again in my 40s there's so much more to him than I really got first time round, just the sheer pathetic cravenness, the narcissism, the pettiness, the inferiority complex. Got to be a top 5 all time sitcom character for me.

I loved the way Artie would do that big shit eating smile and call Larry, Hank and everyone else "sweetie". You always got the impression Artie had seen so much crazy shit in show business over the years that nothing really fazed him anymore. He always seemed to know how to deal with things while everyone else was freaking out. A brilliant character and performance.
