Any of you lot watched this then? Some Egyptian Noir.

Quite classical, almost tropey in places but still quite good with the odd dash of gallows humour in there. All quite gritty and enjoyable.

Yes! I saw this last year at the film festival. Quite enjoyed it actually, thought it conveyed a great sense of place and the way the narrative progressed was satisfying, including the ending. The webs of corruption and scum were very effective. I liked the visuals as well, and the lead actor did a good job.
