Extremely small moments in comedy that make you laugh way more than intended

^Stew did a version of this, describing a club in Balham in the early '90s (I think?) in one of his books: "do look for it, it is still there"

Herein, the face Ricky Grover is making when the camera focuses on him reading the porno, followed by him miming sucking that cock. Sublime little mini moment. Even just before it when he's kinda moving his head like a chicken, though it's harder to see in this low resolution. He's the best thing in that sketch by far. Shame he's not in more Lee and Herring stuff.

More from Fist of Fun - Peter's pronunciation of Valentines as "Valenteens" as well as saying Dor-EYE-tos in another episode (or series).

In the Calcium episode of Look Around You, when explaining the impact that the loss of calcium would have on humanity, I absolutely love the way the camera zooms sharply in on the gravestone with that subtle little bass tone playing over it. That show was loaded with lovely little bits like that.

Rik Mayall as Colin in Bad News Tour. After he leaves the band and comes back crying. How he says "Yes" after Vim tells the studio guy to "track that mate," like the owns the studio or something.

This is it right here.

I like to believe the others are actually corpsing at Rik's final "WHO IS IT?!". Nobody could do boggle-eyed anger like him.

Tiny, tiny bit in the Venture Bros: When the Monarch is looking through a book of new arch rivals, completely disinterested, and he turns onto the page of Dr. Dugong and mutters, "Ah jeez, look at.. look at this guy" in a mix of mild pity and disgust. Such a small throwaway moment but it's amazing.

so many great little noises in the simpsons

the sound of the flying monkeys crumpling to the floor many storeys below as they fall from burns' window in "the last temptation of homer" is incredible

also when burns lets off the gas bomb in the "king homer" halloween episode, that weary "uuhhuhuhhuu" noise he makes absolutely kills me

... "i was strolling through the gas one daayyy"

Check out time an punishment from the following Halloween special.

When homer sits on the fish

"Oh I wish I wish I hadn't killed that fish"

Also when homer goes mad with the baseball bat is awesome noise wise

Another bit from More Bad news. When Rik says "let's record this introduction prolopy ". For
1st time I played that to friends they didn't hear it,  but I couldn't stop laughing,  much to their bemusement.

Watched this one the other night as it happens! The best bit of that rampage at the end is where he punches that fucking massive mosquito. Gets me every time.

That episode is class.

"Where have you been?"
"Getting my ass handed to me by a fucking orangutan!"

The Simpsons moment when Luke Perry gets fired from a cannon and momentarily slows as he passes through the sandpaper museum, without losing any momentum, is one of the smallest, funniest details in anything I know.

At the end of The Nightman Cometh where Frank murmurs comfortingly "It was a great musical Charlie, you did a great job, she isn't worth it" followed by "The rape scene went really well". Its such an oddly cute moment for the show that it always catches me off guard.

I love that.

Another cute moment is Frank as the Man Cheetah

"What are you, a Man Cheetah?"

"Yeah"

"Cool."

"You like it?"

"Yes."

I like how Dennis words it exactly as "Man Cheetah" the same way Frank did, instead of just saying "cheetah." Instantly back on the same wavelength.

I like the bit after when they confront Mac with the prostitute, and he also points at Frank and says: "Is he a man-cheetah?" I even like how they put the stress on the 'chee-' part to sound it as all one word. Clearly happened before.

Clownbaby

I like Charlie's tiny little nod to Mac and Dennis after he puts his feet on the stool. Charlie's little face in general just cracks me up, he doesn't even have to do anything.

Maharishi Arthur Sultan's nonchalant namaste after his failed pass at pretend Mia Farrow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFPgs4cT47E#t=41m08s

I always thought that was meant to be Patti Boyd rather than Mia Farrow (since she's sat with Stig).

The Rutles is a treasure trove of those little sorts of scenes and small moments.

Funnily enough I saw that episode the other day and that same bit cracked me up. Along with the numbering on the device.

The whole Ted Maul cowe gonna be chops bit is great

When it bluntly cuts to "NOTHING MUCH GOING ON HERE."

"Then eccentric - now DEAD" cuts to men digging in graveyard

I watched that recently and it got the loudest laugh out of me in months. Good shout Clownbaby.

Everything about the "Dinner with Digby" sketch from ABoFaL is marvelous--it's such an incisive take on these pretentious twits--but the little enthusiastic "nng, nng, nng, nng" of agreement that Fry-as-Susan uses at 1:36 is bliss.

(As is the "Very..." "Very deglante?" exchange earlier. But I could pick almost every moment out of this... the whole thing is full of delicious little quirks.)

One of my very favourites as well.

In Mr Show from the mustardayonnaise sketch when Jay bursts in with the striped gear on.

Just to prove there's a dubstep version of just about everything...
