edit: had to change the title, it was funny because it made me feel sick, now it just makes me feel sick.

haggerston

me and shelly
hung around holiday resort
fake addresses for sport

romance is dead
a holiday romance I think instead
two week long handsome man
cherry vodka and tan

it doesn't make a squeek
he looks just like a geek
doesn't look much like a geek
but he spends
all his money on hollograms

pool table
air hockey
and street fighter two
neon lips and a cold cat hard nose stare

me and shelly
hung around holiday restort

european son

katie, darling, is it ok if you sticky this thread?

if you do i'll buy us both some white lightning and fags, we can go to piccadilly gardens and i can try to cop a feel.

Rats

Yeah, just look at it as an excuse to add depth to your character by spurting "sticky" innuendo. Everyone's a winner baby, KATIEbaby, lol!!350125Go!

imitationleather

Hoho, I fucking love those character mods.

So, what exactly is the point of this thread? Are we supposed to post our own music? Also, if we do post anything, shouldn't it all go on the Verbwhores CD? It badly needs filling up!

Rats

Yeah, post there if you want something on the cd. But what happens when the cd is full? This is just a free for all, you can post anything, even if you think it isn't good enough for anyone to listen to or you're working on something and thinking of giving up and want feedback or you've made a drumloop that someone might like the smell of and so on.

ClaudiusMaximus

I've made 5 albums of electronic music so far, more in progress.  http://www.claudiusmaximus.tk is where all of them are accessible from.  Not all of it is uploaded in high quality yet, but I'm working on it...

If anyone is at a loss where to host their music online, I recommend the Archive.org Open Source Audio Archive.  You fill in a little questionnaire about what rights you want to give users, and you get free unlimited bandwidth hosting forever.  Nice.

This is a little number I wrote 8 years back. It's called

"A heart divine"

The journey in my brain
Lands me in dispute:
"animals in
animals out"
Say the fashion press of my mind

In a mini-sense
Aren't we all just God's animals
"animals in
animals out"
In my heart  ....my heart divine.

------------------------------------------------------

This cuplett of verses repeats in waves through a filter of cascading echoes, then tails off through some mashed up beats into a chorus of cascading cello.

If you put it in a CD player on 'repeat' it will repeat itself again and again.

My wife gave birth to it.

I trust you gave it a good clean before putting it in your CD player?

Rats

This has been sitting on my hard drive since 2002 and I thought it was shit but now there's a thread I can put it in. Mwahahaha, damn, foiled by the back button.

http://www.zen26454.zen.co.uk/Merrygo.mp3

She sick of merry-go
I sack of leaves
she grow old with me
met her on empty
when my heart was diseased
I was 43 and a bit
when she said
you're not the one for me
by a long stretch
but you will buy me cigarettes
from machine
She wired my heart good
and put him to sleep
the garden grow over so deep
she goes out on the town
when I stay in house
but all these memories
I get to keep
like when she said
you're not the one for me
by a long stretch
but you will buy me cigarettes
from machine
no, you're not the one for me
by a long stretch
but you will buy me cigarettes

and another one, I could never remember taping so I must have been sloshed

http://www.zen26454.zen.co.uk/boy,%2016.mp3

When all targets long shots
when you're nothing at all
roll a thought in your bedroom
and puff under duffle coat
living aloud
my brain is house proud
and you can take the girl
don't you know
they said you were sound
but still, your eyes drift down
you don't have to be shy my dear
when you're nothing at all

Quote from: "The Unicorn"Got about half of my "long awaited" album done, here be they:

Open Your Heart

Through The Looking Glass

Do You Feel That Life Is Passing You By?

Have You Ever (vocal version)

I Will Follow Her Down (slightly cleaned up version)

Fancy some radio play? Seriously, "Have you ever" is great!

It is great, seconded.  To be honest, I preferred the instrumental version though:

El Unicornio, mang

Ooh thanks! It's odd, because I played it to my wife and she hated it, said it sounded like something from 'Saved By The Bell', so I put it aside, but on the strength of weekender saying a while back he liked the instrumental version I decided to finish it and put it up.
Radio play would be ace!

Typically top, slightly disturbing stuff from Rats, btw. Give that lad a record deal!

Hairy Chin

Tell you what, Mr. The Unicorn - them's great songs. I like them considerably, really nice sound to them.

Dr David V

Good thread Rats, hopefully this will entice some of them lot to put something on the CD.

Here's my offerings:

The Boiled Song (web-page)
S.T.A. (Radio edit)
Bounce
Gap

chand

Dr David V

Chand, can I use your track on the VerbWhores CD? It's very good, and it would fit a gap I'm trying to fill at the moment.

chand

Haha, I can't see why you'd want to, but yes you may indeed. That would be cool.

Rats

Absolute shit and brilliant at the same time. Fab.

Go Kart Mozart mixed with John Shuttleworth with a bit of threebrain in there.

Love it.

Quote from: "sore bottom mum"Little Blind Timothy (Fifi)

Perfect drunken music! You may be condescending but you've certainly pleasured me.

Rats

and a bit of frank sidebottom, must be. Oh please, tell me you're a fan, he taught Huzzie to play keyboard and everything. If you're reading huzzie, did he only have the one head which he painstakingly made one month when there wasn't much football on and kept meticulously clean or did he have loads made by poor zimbabwean teenagers and just idly tossed away dirty heads and didn't bother taking them off when it was raining and everything?

ColaCoca

Slow heavily filtered breaks with indian noises and oddly, no real bass line.

Rope Trick

falafel

I'd really like some comments on Soft; I put it up a while ago but haven't had any feedback. It's pretty much done, just needs a bit more work on structure. Prizes for whoever can guess the origin of the sample!

Aww, go on... please...
