Poundland is a range of prices now and no longer qualifies the name "Poundland"

I keep picking things up, thinking "that's a bargain" and it's actually £3  (????)

I went in there the other day to buy my suppositories. Imagine my surprise to find them priced at $2.99.

Disgraceful.

That was always the flaw inherent in the Poundland business model, eventually inflation me and you can't afford to sell stuff for a pound anymore. Poundstretcher is a much more astute low price tat shop name.

It's just a normal fuckin shop now

Wrong. It's a normal shop filled to the brim with absolute fucking tat. And nice sweets.

I prefer Poundstretcher to be honest. They have a mild range of quality tat, at prices that won't stretch y'pound!
