Mr A did (sort of) lead to the Question, though, right? So credit for that, though I much preferred Q when Dennis O'Neal was at the helm as that whole Objectivism stuff is a bit rum for my liking.

At the risk of sounding like a gay homosexual, Spider-Man/Peter Parker meant an enormous amount to me as a kid, and the kind of earnestness that I got from these 60s Spidey comics only exists nowadays as an ironic joke. So I have done a very small cry today.

I do get what you mean. I wasn't helped by sharing a first name with Mr Ditko's most famous creation, which subsequently helped lead to an obsession with red haired women that took the best part of 20 years to shake off .
