The great thing about this is how it goes against all the natural inclinations you would have if you were sitting down to write these songs for real. For example, so far I've just been pissing about with it in work, making songs about people I work with, and if I was sitting down at home with my guitar and keyboard to write a song about a work colleague being overly paranoid, I wouldn't opt for a Sonic the Hedgehog outtake as the backing track. Likewise, a song about a work colleague being bald wouldn't have a funeral march as a backing track with the vocals of a severe stroke victim.

It's definitely a useful tool for being creative / making music, and could have a few different applications - loosely "covering" the music produced, sampling sections, just using it to get you thinking outside the box, etc.
