1. That irreconcilable split in the Tory party (the one that has been promised for years) is about to happen it seems.

2. Theresa May told the leavers that Brexit means Brexit and they were stupid enough to believe her. Friday's Chequers meeting revealed that she lied to everybody.

3. After two years of posturing, our relationship with the EU is going to be about 98% identical to what we have already.... Except we have much reduced influence and in addition look fucking stupid.

4. Theresa May is now playing the damage limitations game. The economy must not crash and the hard Brexit wing of her party (who were in denial of this, or perhaps even willing to take a financial hit for an ideological pure Brexit) have have yet to react....
