Pseudopath

Just realised that the pharmacist in this classic 80s Mates Condoms commercial is none other than Gina McKee (of Notting Hill, In The Loop and Brass Eye fame).

He also played Cyril McGregor in Coronation Street (Tony Osoba as Wesley), before they got replaced by Philip Whitchurch and Paul Barber when they got their own series, the Brothers McGregor, although Chase did appear as a guest character.

Another one.

He reappeared in Corrie more recently as Father Abraham. My dad was also an extra in some scenes with him in Liverpool modern-day western Dead Man's Cards, where he yet again played the gangster's head goon (opposite Paul Barber). I only picked him as he used to live in the next street to us, and my sister went to school with his daughter.
