love these. first two probably should be in mine to be honest.

A hundred is both a lot and not very many.  I played the game by selecting on the basis that you could only 'save' track one per artist, and that once you'd picked, everything else they'd done would be erased from the face of the earth.  Turns out many of the ones I'd miss the most really are the smasheroos (there's an undeniable conditioning factor: like Brundle I grew up in the seventies, in my case in a jazz household with no older siblings, and so with limited exposure - Radios 1 and 2 and TOGWT mainly - to the more album-oriented forms of pop and rock).  That said, there's more to hits than hype.
