I'd like to have some recommendations from you CAB experts.

So far I love these ones:

Andy Daly - Nine Sweaters
Wurster & Scharpling - Rock, Rot & Rule
Derek & Clive - all of them
Maria Bamford - all of them
Peter Cook - The Misty Mr Wisty
Why Bother?
Comedy Death Ray
Tim Key. With a String Quartet. On A Boat

Malcy

Kevin Bloody Wilson - Let's Call Him Kev
Billy Connolly - Classic Connolly

2 off the top of my head. I'd have to have a look to see what else I have thats good.

easytarget

Aparna Nancherla - Just Putting It Out There
Jackie Kashian - I Am Not the Hero of This Story

Both on Spotify

EOLAN

Any "Beyond the Fringe" Live Recording albums
Monty Python albums taken up a fair bit of positive discussion on their own thread and definitely worth a listen.

up_the_hampipe

Patrice O'Neal - Mr P
Rory Scovel - Dilation
John Mulaney - The Top Part
Bill Burr - Emotionally Unavailable
Anthony Jeselnik - Shakespeare
Patton Oswalt - Werewolves & Lollipops
Dave Attell - Skanks For The Memories
Daniel Tosh - True Stories I Made Up
Bo Burnham - what.

That's some I like. Just realised I've not listened to enough women. Maybe they're not being as well represented on the audio front. Amy Schumer's album Cutting was enjoyable at the time, but she's not a good name to bring up now.

Ron Superior

Paul F Tompkins - Impersonal and Freak Wharf
Hannibal Buress - My Name Is Hannibal
Nate Bargatze - Yelled At By A Clown
Mitch Hedburg - all of them

BeardFaceMan

Bill Hicks - Rant In E-Minor (the one where he had truly stopped giving a fuck)
Bill Bailey - The Ultimate Collection... Ever! (his In Metal album is good too if you like that sort of thing. And I do)
Chris Rock - Bigger & Blacker
Doug Stanhope - Something To Take The Edge Off
Emo Philips - Emo Philips (works even without seeing him, amazing writer and performer)
Otis Lee Crenshaw & The Black Liars - London, Not Tennessee

SteveDave

Victor Lewis-Smith "Tested On Humans For Irritancy"

iamcoop

Frankie Boyle's last two stand up sets are available to download for free as podcasts. Both are excellent and well worth a listen, if you're into his stuff at least.

Panbaams

If you're into albums of comedy songs, give The Journeymen's Mount Us More a try.

rasta-spouse

I recommend Paul Mooney's stand-up albums.

samadriel

I'll second Paul F. Tompkins.

Bad News - self-titled

David Cross - pretty much anything, but 'Bigger and Blackerer' made me laugh most recently.

Maria Bamford - it's all good, but 'How to Win!' in particular.

Mike Birbiglia - 'Sleepwalk With Me'

Sean Lock - 'Live'

Tig Notaro - 'Good One'

I already took it as a given that you were a fan of Amy's material when you mentioned Patrice. ;)

Sebastian Cobb

Stewart Lee - What Would Judas Do?

I used to really like a CD of prank calls called Hang Up. I still smile when I think of some of them (a 'vivisectionist' ringing the local cats home asking if he could take some off their hands, someone ringing a limo hire company asking for a lift home from the pub and retorting 'oh, la-di-da, listen to me with my fucking silver spoon in my mouth' when told that they only rented out limos, guy ringing the local boxing club and eventually asking the owner for a fight) but, thinking back, one was pretty racist (a guy with a presumably put on Pakistani accent asking for a room in a B&B and then stating 'there are 27 of us'). Someone said it had something to do with Brendan O'Hare from Teenage Fanclub, although not sure how true that was.

This is the sleeve...

It seems to also be known as 'Never Mind The Jerkys, Here's Hang Up'.

Epic Bisto

Why Bother?
Richard Pryor - ...And It's Deep Too (box set)
Bad News
John Shuttleworth - One Foot In The Gravy
Alexei Sayle - The Fish People Tapes
I think I have a few Jasper Carrott LPs and the first two NTNOCN LPs in my collection somewhere.

zomgmouse

Albert Brooks - Comedy Minus One and A Star is Bought
