Just a quick heads up for any BPB fans on here that there is a little tour going on this week to promote a book about  the songs of Will Oldham... without Will Oldham.

Alex Neilson, Jill O'Sullivan and Alisdair Roberts have formed a group called Three Queens In Mourning who play mainly Will Oldham covers and they were in Newcastle last night and were absolutely superb. I know Neilson played drums with BPB on a UK tour about 10 years ago and he's amazing but all three are really talented. Hearing some of the Palace tunes live had me almost as much as if the man himself had been there.
