Kelly Monteith is advised to recast Janine Duvitski, or at a push, the currently dongrading to dowdy and now available Michelle Dotrice as his new missus. He ignores this advice, and reaches for the handset of his non-mobile phone ('cos it's 1979).

"Get me the non-Vicki Michelle one off " 'Allo 'Allo ", and later on Mrs. Sting! " he barks in his distinctive Canadian tones down the reciever of the green bakelite phone-like object.

Kelly Monteith's Agent's eyes are raised heavenwards.
