That Elton John Christmas advert

I wanna see a version of it where at the end the piano lid smashes down on the child's fingers and then it replays the Elton film clips it's just shown, with him fading out like in the photo in Back To The Future.

And while I'm on adverts, what's the deal with the meerkat advert when the waiter asks him where he learned Spanish and he says he learned in Spain.  Why does the guy give him a strange look as if he's just said something wrong/stupid.  I don't get it.  It's a perfectly valid answer.  What's the joke here?
