I know I'm not the only one out there tonight who has been pleasantly surprised to find we have a real hidden gem in our midst...when George White started posting concise but extremely emotive samples in a "identify this song" thread over in general bullshit I was blown away. Here's his debut... https://clyp.it/d1yfjqzi

Sparse, haunting and unassuming, from the second that first "doo doo doo" hook kicks in I was transported to a realm of existence with simpler rules of science than ours, with a lump in my throat.

And have beem hooked ever since! Here is a thread to discuss all things "Gee Dubya" as his fans call him.

Some of the acapelas are basically genius in their minimalism; listen to this track, its almost like hes stripped down the whole concept of "music manipulation" genres like vaporwave or the music of the Caretaker to its bare bones, showing it in its most naked form: https://clyp.it/ai4dekb0

There's something truly unique and universal about that distorted dulcet tone too, its a blank canvas uppn which one can project oneself...like putting your ear to spme kind of sonic mirror and hearing your own soul singing back at you

"Doo doo doo doo"

His mixtape is on there as well
