Name that movie 2018 edition

I'm in a bar and a nice lady is trying to remember a movie. A young woman tells of the only memory she has of her mother is picking out wallpaper. She wanted yellow rosebuds, and they opened apparently but maybe she was dreaming.

Anyone got a clue?

Sounds very very vaguely like the short story The Yellow Wallpaper (a woman is trapped in a room with yellow wallpaper and starts hallucinating from the patterns), but I've never seen any movie adaptation of it.
