Strange nicknames that stuck

Brian Freeze

There was a teacher at our school nicknamed Clang. Because he looked like he'd been hit in the face with a shovel.

DrGreggles

Another school one was Hammer, who turned up one day in new trousers that were slightly too big for him.

Cold Meat Platter

Guy at school whose arse was unnaturally high up, seemingly half way up his back .
Got called Spinal Bummage.

Lordofthefiles

Dave was so thick we called him "Brain".

Upon finding a half empty spray paint can one day in the summer holidays, Dave decided to put his monicker upon the wall of the school playground.
Unfortunately for Dave he was SO thick he muddled his letters up and has since been known as "Brian" to everyone.

Whenever Dave/Brian allows his workmates or family to interact with our group of friends we all come across as a right set of inverse Triggers.

I prefer this one. Maybe I just like trousers-related nicknames.

It probably needed to be 1990 for the name to work though.
Fortunately, on that occasion, it was.

I imagine "Hammer" to be a puny, timid sort, swotty too.

My dad's cousin is called Phil.  One day, when they were kids, my dad told him to 'fill the bucket'.  Consequently he was known as Bucket for the next sixty years, until he finally asked people to please use his actual fucking name you bastards.

We had "butt-up-on-her-back Jackie"
Pretty disappointing now.
