I have two Macintosh Portables which I think have faulty capacitors (at least that's my inexpert diagnosis). I'm in the UK (north of London) and I was wondering if anyone on here was a hobbyist electronics person that can fault-find and repair these? This guy seems to know what he's doing, but he's in the US. I'd have a go but I've only ever soldered battery packs together and I'm not sufficiently skillful to tackle such a task without fucking it up royally.
