Sad to say that Pamela Des Barres has just reported on facebook that Victor Hayden, The Mascara Snake, has died.

I think one could say he played his part in the history of popular music:

Ahaha...
(Fast and bulbous!) Fast and bulbous!
That's... ahaha (Hey do it again, whenever you want)
I love that, I love those words
Fast and bulbous!
That's right, The Mascara Snake, fast and bulbous!
Bulbous also tapered?
Yeah but you've gotta wait until I say
"Also, a tin teardrop"
Oh... Christ, ahaha
(Again, beginning)
Fast and bulbous!
That's right, The Mascara Snake, fast and bulbous!
Also, a tin teardrop!
Bulbous also tapered?
That's right

I know some people hate it, but Pena is one of my favourite tracks on TMR, and not just for the intro.

Something about his life and very peculiar art:

Oh well.

a duncandisorderly

hit by a van, he was. not a van vliet or a van fleet, but just the one van. one wonders if the van was fast or indeed bulbous.

jobotic

That's sad and I agree with you about Pena.

He did the cover of Gluey Porch Treatments? I'm off to Fuck My Hat.
