Highly recommend this. I find MechaGamezilla's videos to be warm and singular and funny, so I signed up right when this Patreon was launched. After a genuinely touching Xmas podcast episode I feel the need to share it. Highly recommended to anybody mid-30s-ish with a sort of resigned sad but comfortable longing for nothing in particular. And I'm sure it would appeal outside of that demographic too.

I'd link to his actual youtube channel as that's a better way in https://www.youtube.com/user/MechaGamezilla/videos. I would recommend his older games stuff as well, but a batter way in for people here would be his Infinite Review stuff https://www.youtube.com/user/MechaGamezilla/videos

Love him. His Christmas specials have been my favourite Christmas tradition since 2013 and he seemed quite down in last year's, so I'm really glad everyone finally convinced him to do a patreon. Glad we can his sweet gentle voice more often, while every video still feels like a special event. No-one else quite like him.

Watched a couple of bits, not sure I understand why this is good. Just someone very... slowly... not really making... any observations or... being funny.

Watching Xmas one now, see if it clicks

Edit: I laughed. It clicked

I actually watched this by chance the other day and remember thinking how good it was and wondering why I'd never heard of him before. Well I have no, very good.

Yeah Mechagamezilla is very funny and I'm glad that Patreon has encouraged him to put stuff out more regularly over the last year.

I think my favourite thing he's done is this slightly haunting video about crowdfunding from a couple of years back:
