Oh I really like that. (Edit: Fuck me... yes... All of her stuff is ace. Great shout... Wow)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbCJIxoyxwc Fucking AWESOME.

Great innit. Her style and attitude (though the music is different) remind me a bit of Zhala: Holy Bubbles | Prince In The Jungle

Niceness. I see from their Facebook page that the mighty Austra are getting active again - hopefully there'll be some new stuff from them before long.

And bang on cue, Austra announce 29/01/2020 as the date for... something!

I really, really thought the opening line was "Love your foot", which would have made this superb alone. I might have to add that to my list of potential lyrics.

Hmm, no mention of Luna Shadows yet. 'Waves' is one of my favourites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAiarWPRn0s

Golden E. Pump

JoJo re-recorded her teen pop hits. 'Too Little Too Late' is sublime.

That chorus, man.

Doing my usual Friday trick of drinking wine and watching Pobol y Cwm until my brain gets fried by an additional language so back on the tunes. Obviously was intending to hit Angelica Garcia and stay there for the next 3 hours or so but first recommendation came up with his bit of lovelyness. She is fucking talented. Acoustic number without that fucking beautiful drone but still ace.

Also, this time next week I would have seen CRJ for the second time. Arghhh..

Nice this but will always hate any song with that midi guitar line sound. Shame, as without it it is right up my street. In fact, it's not enough for me not to like it. Great shout.

Just been flicking though and the concept of this video is my fav in ages. Song is fine but video is absolutely lovely. https://youtu.be/YJLdCFGmYGI I really like her dress too. :)

Edit: Wait... live she is totally different. Maybe that why she never break through (apart from the obvious of being a credible female latino woman of colour). This is ab bit low energy compared to her videos but my lord, what a talent. Voice, tunes... dare I say it.... looks... the music industry is fucking weird.

Oooo.. nice find. The support for CRJ next week is Georgia, who, it seems is the daughter of Neil Barnes of Leftfield. She has at least one banger.

Of course. It's THIS video. Did one of you cunt recommed it or did I just stumble across it?

Love that tune.

*If I am being super cynical the lo-fi nature of video is intentionally masking fact that she has industry insider helping. But fuck it... it's still ace. Well it's 7/10 good.

New Foxes.

Wasn't expecting this at all. No hint of her ethereal synth-pop debut or her more singer-songwriter-ish second album. Bright and energetic, a touch of So-era Peter Gabriel in the production maybe. Lots of fun.

in recent stuff, I quite enjoy colombian pop star Lido Pimienta
