Similar to the Death Pool/Death List, is anyone up for betting who might be #cancelled of a year?

I'm not quite sure how the points system would work, and if there are any bonuses to implement, but I'd say the qualifying criteria for a #cancellation are that it has to be reported by at least one credible news/gossip site and that it can't be related to a pre-existing #cancellation (i.e. another woman coming forward about Bill Cosby wouldn't get you points).

Maybe just a check-off list and whoever gets the most hits wins?

hummingofevil

Vince McMahon (though he might be cancel proof)
David Walliams (should have been cancelled already)
Madonna
Diane Louise-Jordan
Greg Wallace
Prof. Brian Cox
Tony Livesey
Peter Capaldi
Jo Brand

Never understood this. He's the stereotypical rich white male cunt. Hates/disrespects women and foreigns and his product is some of the most braindead, offensive shit on tele.

How he hasn't been hounded out yet I don't know.

Because he'll lay a smack down on you in a special televised event.

Stephen Fry
Russell Brand
Jared Leto (if he hasn't been already)
James Franco (if he hasn't been already)
Joanna Lumley
Meryl Streep (as a wild card, probably for saying something offensive)

Jerry Seinfeld

Ellen DeGeneres somehow
Tony Robinson
Albert Brooks
Chris Rock

Oh Chris Pratt for sure, I agree Old Nehamkin.

Piers Morgan hopefully, but like Clarkson being a cunt is his thing so he seems fairly bullet proof.

Cristiano Ronlado MAYBE although there's always at least one football club willing to hire players convicted of sexual assault, at any level of the game (e.g. Ched Evans).

PlanktonSideburns

Okay, they're really good guesses

Noodle Lizard

James Franco got one this time last year, after doing well at the Globes for his poor-quality Tommy Wiseau impersonation.  It didn't go very far because it was another one of those where the headline is far more dramatic than the accusations actually were, but I think he was effectively cancelled for the remainder of the year.

He's fair game if something comes up which wasn't one of those pre-existing accusations.

Noodle Lizard

I reckon it should be 10 selections each, one point for each substantiated "accusation", and the only bonus being double points for a Solo Bonus.

How's that sound, lads?

Do women get #cancelled?

Asia Argento got a bit #cancelled, ironically enough.  Lena Dunham an all.

Do women get #cancelled?

It does happen. Roseanne Barr (literally) for example. But they're still far less likely to get cancelled than men.

phantom_power

There should be double points for a successful woman cancelling prediction

Thursday

Swear a lot of these people were already cancelled, although maybe they're just not completely mainstream cancelled.

Aye - scuttlebutt says his #MeToos are in the pipeline, but held back due to legal threats on his part.

Dunham exists to get cancelled. I kind of appreciate her for it because she's even worse at being a celebrity than I would be.

Cancelled as in someone in a tv show that gets cancelled, or something different?

Paul Feig and Anthony Kiedis. Wut.

Alberon

Gets cancelled from their career like Kevin Spacey or Roseanne Barr.

It's a metaphysical form of social soul death - basically, the celebrity is persona non grata.
