on the subject of Kentucky, as usual mojo filters is vastly over complicating things. Bevin is insanely unpopular because he completely fucked the teachers in Kentucky, resulting in them throwing everything behind the useless cretin Beshear. also Bevin tries to do the Trump thing but is bad at it due to being a charmless cunt.

Amy McGrath has absolutely no chance in Kentucky, as she well knows. a self admitted war criminal, who's never won a serious election, and who's first policy announcement was that she would have approved Brett Kavanaugh is not going to beat the best funded candidate in the senate.

Dog Botherer

otherwise i am very impressed at how quickly Warren is burning through her left wing credibility. at this rate she'll be polling in single digits by Christmas. i knew she was a shit candidate but she seems determined to say the wrong thing at every opportunity.

Twed

And constantly proving that she'll be destroyed by Trump by reacting to every question that isn't a softball by making the face everyone's mum makes when a rude bit comes on in a film.

Urinal Cake

Warren knows she can't out left Sanders but she has to be seen as progressive. Even when she's takes the middle ground like this she still is the second best option- domestically. And she knows who her base is-white, middle class professionals. And their hope is that their children and grandchildren can become billionaires but not become crazy like Bezos or frankly their boss. And in the general election the facilitation of a kinder Capatilism where people have a safety net but can still 'make it' will have a strong pull.

That being said her political skills are off and she would.have trouble against Trump.

It gets worse: https://twitter.com/QueenInYeIIow/status/1193264968604499968?s=19

She's even worse than Hillary for the getting angry when asked a question she doesn't expect. All she has is turning to the audience to bask in applause. She's lost outside of the selfie line.

It was a bit Trumpian which means it won't really hurt her now or in the future.  Except for people who see Amy Goodman as their Socialist grandmaw or looking for reasons to dismiss her. Lower standards for everyone.

The interesting reason is why she was cut up about the question. Was it because she felt it was a trap to catch her on race issues or to piss off voters there or to piss off the DNC? But see there Trump would've give the reason why he thought it was a trap before huffing off which makes him better in that regard. From reading between the lines it seems she thought it was probably about pissing off the DNC.

It really is not Trumpian. Being flustered, lacking control and showing huge amounts of self-doubt, deflecting without bombast? All she did was make an "aww shucks this is awfully rude!" face at the audience in the hope they'd applause-save her. Trump would have said something dumb as shit, made the night's headlines and emboldened his supporters further.

You don't even have to find Amy Goodman tolerable to think this is bad. And how fucking dismissive is it to equate "is it a bit unfair that white states set the tone of the primaries" with "you are trying to get me to say mean things"? It's a reasonable and pertinent question.

Twed

Biden: "What would be a good thing for me to in public at the moment? Let's see... GOT IT. I'll smell the hair of children."

https://youtu.be/jSQrVdV7XD4 It is a bit Trumpian- a change in expression then polite but dismissive and getting away as quickly as possible. Trump has the bombast after the interview about the interview in front of his crowd.

Of course the question is fine but at this stage and in front of this crowd it doesn't matter. I think she would be more tolerant  if it was msm because more eyes are watching.

Twed

That's an example of Trump walking out like a regular person, IMO. And Warren doesn't even go that fair. She's on the back foot, always.

idunnosomename

is it just me or did Bernie seem like a right lemon last time but now he's going at it like a right pearler. go for it berns

Urinal Cake

Nah, a normal person in a professional or polite setting would have to eat shit before leaving. Give an accountable-enough answer but exchange formalities and be a bit personable before leaving because, 'Hey no hard feelings' even though I think you're a shit.
A politician would give a discursive and deflective answer, hoping they don't get a follow-up but in the end it's just the game.
There's a WASPy contempt I seen in both in Warren and Trump.

Leo2112

I'd not seen this Biden 'Corn Pop' video from a few months ago, it's probably been posted here already (starts at 4:12) https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=384&v=oihV9yrZRHg&feature=emb_title  As utterly bizarre as you might expect.  Also sort of depressing how disconnected this senile old man is from the bored children standing around him - offering no policies that will make their lives better, just half remembered stories from his youth.

Dog Botherer

that Corn Pop vid is just as big of a senile moment as anything Trump has done. what makes it so surreal is that there's no hooting crowd of chuds to lap it up, just some vaguely mystified and bored randos watching some old fuck shit his brains out his ears.

desolation.

Urinal Cake

This is the Grandpa Simpson vs Grandma Simpson vs Lisa Simpson vs Sideshow Bob primary. Thrown in Milhouse, McBain etc.

Twed

It's becoming clear that media outlets are running "Billionaires are scared of Warren" stories to attempt to give her a positive reputation with the left

Billionaires don't fund the people they're scared of

kittens

what about when they pay for a ticket to a horror film, or visit a haunted house?

Dog Botherer

in fairness there isn't a single billionaire i could envisage doing either of those things.

it'll be interesting to see how much of Warren's support is actually material as opposed to her fanboys in the journalist class. she could be in for a rude awakening once actual votes are cast.

Cuellar

I can imagine a billionaire having, say, a Netflix account, or perhaps an Amazon Prime, and watching a horror film on their TV.

Yes, that I can imagine.

imitationleather

Netflix? Pffff! A billionaire would surely just hire all the actors to come and perform it in their living room.

Cuellar

I'll be the first to admit that my imagination is shot to pieces.

Michael Bloomberg should be sectioned if he genuinely believes he has a constituency. I realize that the immorally rich live in a bubble, but do they really think people are clamouring for their political candidacies? First Starbucks Cunt, then that Steyer guy and now Mikey B. I say go for it: not only will it be hilarious to see him completely flame out, he will only steal votes from candidates I don't like and will further examplify Bernie's point about how the US is an oligarchy. Literally cannot see any argument for why he would choose to run.

chveik

Urinal Cake

Sanders has the right approach though it's too late- never let the cunts get that rich in the first place.
I presume this is some eventual third party nonsense to bleed off votes if Sanders or Warren wins the nomination. Atleast Gates was more honest when he implied he'd just vote for Trump rather than see any real hit on his wealth instead of this playing footsy political rubbish.

Twed

kngen

Both her and Bloomberg in the Dem primaries. Oh, can you imagine the centrist shitfights?

marquis_de_sad

Hasn't Hilary missed the boat for a number of states already? Or that's what I read anyway, I don't understand this stuff.

imitationleather

Nope. If she decides she wants to be President she just has to say.
