Slightly belated - it happened just after chrimbo - but I've only just clocked it today.

Probably my favourite Hong Kong director, that run of films from City On Fire in 1987 to Burning Paradise in 1994 was amazing, with no less than six bona fide masterpieces and a few other minor masterpieces as well.

Found dead by his wife.  No more details.  Probs did a Carradine.
