She is. But she is also mates with Josie Long and if the conversation ever happened to come up...

I think that was also specifically in regard to some fucking horrific ironic sexism on here.

DrGreggles

Next (final big) site update next Thursday, the 16th.

Can't see a Sam & Tom show listed.

Sam Nicoresti and Tom are doing solo shows, dunno whether they're doing a double act this year.

JCR

Kitson isn't in the midnight slot at the Stand, unless he's just on for the second half of the month:

Kieran Hodgson!

Great opportunity to finally see Lance and Maestro.

CaledonianGonzo

Latest email from The Stand says that all their Fringe shows are now on sale.

Traverse?

Anyone seen French Exchange?

CaledonianGonzo

Nope - I think I might do all 3, but it's the latter two that are bolted on.

My planner is starting to get stacked for the first week. Just need to know where / when Lucy Pearman is going to show up.

WestHill

My thoughts exactly!

She's on the Monkey Barrel flyer but don't no anything else.

French Exchange and Lance are the ones I need to see.
Shame he's on at such a peak time, as I'd love to see his other shows again too.

I saw French Exchange when he did the trilogy in one night a few years ago, going off my recollection it was a little weaker than the other two but certainly not bad. French Exchange/Lance/Maestro all fit together really well as an overall arc for want of a better way of putting it.

Found Footage Festival is back and always good late night fun.

WestHill

Thanks for the tip, that FFF looks fun!

Anyone got any theatre recommendations? I want to try and mix it up (although my schedule is already looking packed!)

Or not.

Summerhall then?

DrGreggles

My Fringe calendar can only be described as "a work in progress".
Luckily I've colour-coded it for extra clarity.

CaledonianGonzo

Was hoping that Lazy Susan would reprise their show from last year.

Seagullsim

Is that everything announced now then? Amazed that some festival regulars aren't there this year - no Janey Godley, Phill Jupitus, Stephen Bailey, Lucy Pearman, Jimmy McGhie etc....

There's always a few late additions*, but that's everything that's going to be in the programme.

*Kitson's notoriously late

CaledonianGonzo

Did anyone see Jena Friedman last time she was here?

CaledonianGonzo

When did they start putting Audience Participation warnings on some of the show listings?

Natalie Palamides was robbed of a nomination but her legacy shall be commemorated forever in the introduction of Audience Participation warnings in the Fringe guide. :)

JCR

Kitson says he has no venue, time slot or show, but feels like he still might come. If there is a show, he will announce it.
