Re: Jay White. Firstly his character is such that if he loses it's not his own fault as he is such a whiny heel. Secondly, by losing it just gives him a chance to get more pissed off. A grump Jay White who has a crap G1 is a storyline that can actually make the character stronger. Thirdy (as pointed out above) there were some scores to settle and finally I suspect we are going to get a bit of a run now and probably beat Mox to stop him winning the block.

Anyone have any thoughts about Copper Box card? I was expecting something obvious to pop out but not so sure. If it was me I would have ZSJ wrestle Osprey as joint homecoming with ZSJ playing heel and book some properly big Japanese vs Japanese matches. I suspect they wont so maybe the 10th August show could set up Okada Ibushi (oh god) Osprey Tana (oh god). I really am not sure.

I don't follow NJPW very closely, but don't they do losing streaks fairly often? Okada was on one recently wasn't he? The nature of the hard hitting matches means people often look good despite losing and when they start winning again it looks like they've caught fire.

I'm guessing Okada will lose to Sanada and beat Evil, with Ibushi winning his next two matches setting up a winner takes the block final match.

If Moxley beats Yano tomorrow then I think everyone is eliminated from block 2 except Juice, White (depending if they win) and one of Ishii or Goto (whoever wins their match). So unless Moxley has a collapse in his last few matches it looks like it's gonna come down to his final day match against Juice.

An Ibushi/Moxley final won by Ibushi is now my prediction.

LAX are amazing and if will be on AEW or WWE soon enough.

Their match against the Rock and Roll Express in Mania week is legitimately in my top 5 matches of the year. It was in Spring Break 2 (I think) and was absolutely ace. In fact, if there was a sub-category for one-off match story telling I would put that and Suzuki Barnett as the only two possible winners (unless, like Timothy you want to include all of AEWs output, then Cody Dustin completes the top three).

I agree so much about the Impact women. They are ace. They range from awesome to good in the ring but they all carry themselves as stars. It really should be more of a big deal. Shame.

So wait... we all know Gedo is a genius but is he THAT MUCH of a genius. Just watched Moxley Yano (of course it was amazing) but is that the attention to detail that Gedo puts in to plan that finish? Wow. Mind blown.

If you not seen it I recommend everyone seeks out the ZSJ "you are all going to die" promo followed by Lance Archer cutting one of the all time hilarious reponses. I was dying laughing at the word "smooth".:)
