Finished Halo 3 on Saturday, thought it was absolutely awesome. The final setpiece is astonishing even now.

They brought the fun back. Still think it's a bit too messy to have a really effective sense of tension but the game definitely compares how Halo and Halo 2 went and rightly decided "right. More Halo, less Halo 2".

They have announced a few more details about the PC version.

The disappointing thing is that there will be no option to buy all of the games in a bundle until they are all out.

You need an Xbox Live account but you do not need Gold in order to play online. You'll open up through Steam and connect to your Xbox Live account.

Halo CE is being worked on in tandem with Reach in order for it to follow on quite quickly but this indicates that Halo 2, 3, ODST and 4 are not currently being worked on so will be a while.

There will be an early access Beta in the next few months (could be sooner) which you can sign up for. They are looking for a variation in computer configurations to test the game on as wide a range of systems as possible.

Progress will carry over from the Xbox One version of the Master Chief Collection. This includes achievements. Progress from the 360 will not.
