I've never had to lose weight but I can't cycle/run after boring health problems and have loved swimming over the past few weeks. The first few times were tough but I was amazed how quickly I improved.

Yes - it's quite a quick improvement curve to start with  isn't it? I dislike swimming and struggle with the lane system in the local baths and ploughing up and down gets really boring but I do feel good afterwards.

I am going to have to start swimming, aren't I?

Is there any way to do this without worrying about nerd shit like 'protein' and 'low-carbs' and knowing what the fucking food groups are? I've had four pork pies a day for thirty years and now I'm only eating eggs and rice and broccoli and going to the gym every day. Just tell me if I'll lose weight for fuck's sake.
