Has anyone else witnessed yer man's performance in top mediocre American Sitcom from about three years ago " HAPPY ish ", btw?
I remember an obituary of Peter Cook by Clive James, in which he used the phrase " defying alcohol to dull his brilliant mind ".
Whilst watching this Sitcom, and witnessing his performance therein, I like to think he was defying those hackneyed lines he had to deliver ( while pronouncing the word " ass "as "ass", not "arse" )to dull his brilliant comic mind.
He remains one of my favourite Coogans.
