A Bridge too far? (Camera Query)

Thinking of upgrading my camera setup for video recording as I've seen a nice Sony Cybershot H-300 in a hock shop for £59. Wondering if it's worth putting the cash up, sticking with my Samsung HMX-F80 or waiting to see if I can acquire a "proper" DLSR for cheap.

Any advice?

A larger sensor camera(like a DSLR) is going to be a lot better in both low light shooting and in controlling focus, of course the latter also means it can be more work rather than a small sensor bridge having most things in focus most of the time.

You can pickup cheap used entry level DSLR's and mirrorless quite easily now, MPB especially tend to have a good selection.
