Familiar to Cassavetes fans, those with a bent for mid-to-low rent genre films from the 80s and 90s and, more recently (although not that recently) and one of my all-time favourite film performances as Jason Schwartzman's dad in Rushmore.

Just saw him t'other day in that low-rent Big Wednesday knock-off, California Dreaming.  Seemed like quite a character.  Quite a moustache.

I was fond of him too, especially in Alexandre Rockwell's In The Soup, he was especially fantastic in that.
