Didn't you watch the Christchurch shooting and all that jazz? Plus detailed recollections of other grizzly deaths.

I've never watched the Christchurch shooting, no.  I have seen a fair few grizzly videoed deaths though but like I say, when I watched the flayed cartel fella, that was the point where I drew a line under it.

What's the score with horses? Will they just hump anything? Are they easy pleased? Sex mad?

Well, I mean they're animals and therefore animalistic.  It's like that gif of an elderly woman tripping over onto all fours and the dog trying to hump her.  If someone presents themselves to an animal in heat, then chances are that animal's gonna try and fuck that person.

Well things could always be worse...Freddy Starr just died after spending 76 YEARS being Freddy Starr...I think I'd rather the mulcher/oven/trash compactor...

There was something in the news earlier about a canning factory worker who fell into the machines off a gantry, but it turns out he was still alive until someone opened the tin and microwaved him. Horrible to think about that frontal lobe just alive and aware in the dark on an Aldi shelf for three weeks. They knew he was still alive because he'd eaten the words "help me Jesus" into one of the beans.

You sure you wasn't just watching Wallace and Gromit in A Close Shave?

One of the most tragic, not to mention cruelest deaths would have to be Hisashi Ouchi...

I'm going to put these final two images of Hisashi Ouchi within separate links.  NSFW and do not open if you do not possess the constitution of a strong stomach.

I don't believe either of the linked pictures there actually show Hisashi Ouchi. From reddit:

QuoteThe person in this picture has an amputated foot. Nothing of Ouchi's was amputated. At one point, when a team of radiation specialists from around the world were brought in to consult on the case, a Russian doctor recommended that Ouchi's right arm be amputated because the muscle there was dying and poisoning the rest of the body. However, the Japanese doctors did not do this, as they knew Ouchi had no ability to heal (p.71). Additionally, his blood lacked platelets, meaning it couldn't clot and he could very easily bleed to death. They refused to even take a biopsy from him for fear of this.

Ouchi spent his time covered from head to toe in very special medicated gauze. I suppose it's possible this could've been taken during a change, but seems unlikely. Considering that even his fingers stuck together without gauze to separate them, would they really leave him without any for long enough to take a photograph?

Ouchi was never in any sort of traction.

Ouchi was not missing all his skin by the time of his death. It was described while he was alive (p.76-77) and again in his autopsy (p.119) that there was a very defined border on his body, and the skin on his back appeared relatively normal. He also evidently had some skin remaining on his front, as the coroner described it as being extremely red, like he had been scalded.

He was in a clean room that is described as having a lot of plastic sheeting in it, none of which is seen in this picture.

It's described that there were two air filters at the head of his bed, placed there in an attempt to ward off any bacteria, molds, or viruses in the environment. They don't appear to be in this picture.

He was put on a ventilator soon after any of his skin started falling off. This person has wires going into their nose but doesn't appear to have the type of machines and tubing that were used on Ouchi present.

He was in a special "rolling" bed that rocked 55 degrees to the side to prevent bedsores and lung problems. The bed had "thick padding" attached all around it to ensure he wouldn't slip off as it moved (p.67-68). None of that appears in this picture.

If you search, as I did today after randomly remembering this story and googling "man who's skin fell off after radiation", you can find real pictures, thankfully they aren't as gruesome as either of the above images. However, the pictures of Ouchi's co-worker who was exposed to slightly less radiation (10 sieverts, still absolutely lethal) and survived for a little longer, are awful.

At the risk of sounding like a total liar, I laughed so much at this I just vomited slightly.

The UK has a similar case to that of poor Junko Furuta; the torture and murder of Suzanne Capper.  The account of her fate is truly horrible stuff and makes for deeply saddening reading.

Suzanne Capper (1976-1992)

R.I.P.

Interesting.  Thank you.

Bizarre that "model inmate" McNeilly is now free and with a new identity.

The Capper case reminds me of this horrific tale from the land of Oz:

Less prolonged by still absolutely brutal. Thankfully the culprits will likely never be released (and one died of cancer recently).

QuoteWitnesses have recounted that on several occasions, he had bought a live sheep for a barbecue and slit the animal's throat as he sodomised it before roasting its carcass on a spit.

My word.

It doesn't say what film he was watching. Hope it wasn't Endgame :(

I've been to Star City. I wouldn't choose to meet my maker there.

There's a place there called Oodles n' Oodles which I fucking love and quite frankly I would be thrilled to meet my maker within its walls.

I'd like to open a competing Asian restaurant and name it Oodles o' Noodles.

Googling it, it looks like it's stylised as Oodles N'oodles, so your competing restaurant might end up in legal peril.

Yeah I've lived in Birmingham for about 16 years and I went there once in the first few months. Haven't been back.

But I've already put a down payment on a location for my restaurant, paid for advertising and have a warehouse full of printed menus.  What's worse is I even got my business card laminated!

There's only one rational course of action; to open up a competing law firm, in order to defend myself from the Oodles N'oodles lawyers.  Google informs me that Oodles N'oodles are represented by Aman Solicitors.  I shall name my lawfirm A Man Solicitor, to best reflect the total number of employees; me.
