Today marks the 30th anniversary of the release of the debut album of The Stone Roses ( titled simply " The Stone Roses " ). November of this year shall also Mark the 30th anniversary of my friend asking me to write a poem, and me writing the following which I reproduce in full ( to the best of my memory ) below:

Stone Roses
Stoned poses.
Happy Mondays
Hippy mundane
It's time to start a trend again.
Trouble Maker.
Nude Music Hall Excess.
A Hellyfont de- thaws.
Jeavons.

What do you think ? Do you like it? Bear in mind I was quite young when I wrote it.
