I really like his new album. Personal hip hop lyrics sung to melodies with great hooks. The centrality of his mother is, to the say the least, unusual, but done in a way that feels genuine, warm and not overly sentimental.

He's not a genius but I'm glad he's around and producing music that has depth and warmth.

Yeah, I've been enjoying this too - can't remember the last time I had any time for UK hip hop. Very warm, enveloping, relaxing.
