Tickets released for 11 shows at The Stand in Glasgow this morning. June & July. First 2 are already sold out. £15.

Never seen him live before so looking forward to it and love the venue as it means you can either sit less than a metre from the act or hide up the back in the dark in safety. Think I'll be doing the latter!

It'll be good, though he'll probably have a support act so your £15 equals 45 minutes of Boyle.

I remember I got talking to two Australian tourists a few years back, who had gone into the Stand Edinburgh office, asked to see some comedy, and were handed tickets to that days Boyle WIP. They asked me what he was like & I just spluttered 'nihilistic', though he wasn't that bad that day; if it's a WIP towards a BBC thing it'll probably be tamer than if it going towards an actual show.
