Pleased with 5th place. Disappointed on behalf of San Marino and Iceland. Netherlands was pedestrian shit. Denmark with the worst by a mile ... where is Hamas when you need them?

Also, scrap the jury votes. North Macedonia was absolutely forgettable.

Norway winner of public votes ROBBED

For years it was just public votes, wasn't it? I wonder why they brought juries back.

I can't actually remember the North Macedonia song.

Their song was The Tits, it should have won.  Oh wait, no I don't remember the song either.

Thursday

Woke up this morning, and the San Marino song is still in my head. Don't remember anything else. Shambles.

Poor Czech Republic all huddled and expecting a big score. Then seven points. :(
That was the highlight of my night. The fuckers were so full of themselves, too.

It's definitely the best of the contributions I've heard. So I'm thinking we have the best of both worlds here, Hank. We have the kompakte majoritet on our side, we have indiginous peoples brownie points and a decent tune, all of which give us full gloating rights. Not bad. Åsså rett etter søttendemai, da.

Tbf, Norwegians probably just have the cheapest phone rates, but I consider that a small victory in itself.

When my son came into the bedroom this morning he recounted how hilarious it was that the UK got 3 points on the televote and Germany got none.

He still wants nothing to do with the Netherlands though.

Did you say to him, "Son, you're 43 now. It really is time to start thinking about moving out"?

Rolf Lundgren

Bit late but this year was a belter. The second half was almost flawless as an example of Eurovision. Didn't have Netherlands anywhere near my top 5 (Norway, Italy, Azerbaijan, Australia, Switzerland if you're interested).

Michael Rice shouldn't have come last but only because he was better than the German song. We're crap every year because we toss out an awful song from an uncharismatic no-hoper. I really don't understand why one year they can't persuade someone with a lot of weight to get behind it.
