I quite liked it too, it wasn't an episode I loved but it moved at a decent enough pace and had a good few strong laughs.

I very regularly find myself thinking of "this JANuary... get ready to MICHAEL down your VINCENTS" and laughing.

Me too! Was literally about to quote that line. Not a massive fan of the intergalactic cable eps but that is the highlight.

That was excellent.  Always like Jerry episodes, he's such a loveable idiot loser.  You just know he's going to do the opposite of what is instructed.
As ever, I found myself pausing the frame to look at the little details ever few minutes.  So many little hidden jokes.

Nice nod to the disappearance of that bully.  I also liked the You-Pass-Butter robot, looking forlorn/dead in the fridge.

Mister Six

Yup, another hit for me. That final shot, Rick milking the pathos as his contraption forces ever more OTT humiliations on him, was brilliant. Also impressive how packed it was - three plots, all covering a ton of ground, crackling with gags, wrapped up in 22ish minutes. How you can watch this show when it's operating at this level and not be absolutely blown away by its excellence baffles me.

Blumf

What was Jerry drinking from the fridge in the post-credits scene?

NoSleep

He was drinking the stuff ("whatever you want section of the brain to the whatever you have") that Rick had used on the office guy earlier in the episode.

Really liked this week's episode. Taika Waititi as the app developer/intern was great casting somehow. Would have been good to have the Flight of the Conchords lads in there as various deadpan Kiwi aliens. Also enjoyed the ever-changing soulmates idea, especially the baby being left at the food court.

NoSleep

Jemaine Clement has already guested in an earlier season and even sung a song.

Aside from Taika Waititi, we also had Sam Neill & Kathleen Turner this week. They're all queueing to be in the show.

Ah, of course! Thanks, for some reason completely forgot that bit.

I enjoyed this week's episode except for the weird American pronunciation of 'twat' rearing its head.

It might've been bleeped in the TV version, but in the uncensored one I downloaded legally viewed, Rick called the secretary a "fucking twat", but pronounced "twot".

Apparently these keep getting uploaded to pornhub which is handy for those of those wanting to see them and I only get a couple of viruses in the process.

Keep getting deleted but damned if I'm not looking every hour!

I watched this week's while slightly drunk and I really couldn't tell if it was that or the episode itself, but this week's felt really fucking bonkers, even for this show, just in its mad pacing. Fucking loved it.

Small Man Big Horse

I thought it was another good episode but not a great one, and I don't know if my expectations are too high or if I just am a demanding twat. Probably a bit of both, but who knows.

NoSleep

Heist movies really do suck. Even Office Space; which is great until it becomes a heist movie.

selectivememory

It was a good episode - felt very Community - but I really could have done without the Elon Musk cameo.

Thursday

Really enjoyed that, even though I do also wish they wouldn't give space to Elon Musk.

Schnapple

As someone who loves anything with stupid old-fashioned robots in it, that was very funny. And yeah, completely bonkers. The idea of Mr. Poopybutthole teaching African American Womens studies was so good.

momatt

For half of that episode I felt like an idiot as it was so hard to follow, then towards the end I realised that was the point and really enjoyed it.
Laughed my arse off at the pay-off, really great stuff.

So many mad character designs in this.  Like this guy!

Must admit being disappointed when I saw his name in the credits. It's not always funnier to get a celebrity to play themselves.

Blumf

The Musk bit was the worst part of it, just plain boring.

gib

Please could someone PM me with how to watch these without the swearing bleeped out. I'm up to the 3rd ep of the new season and the only thing i don't like is the bleeping.

What was up with that dig at Lynch, that was like some Family Guy shit. Took me out of the episode even more than the Musk cameo.

David Lynch was in most episodes of The Cleveland Show.

Why? I like David Lynch and that joke.
