Considering all the legitimate criticism of Robinson there is it's a shame to resort to that kind of cheap whataboutism.

Ahh, do these so called feminists campaign for male domestic violence victims??

So you think if someone carries on a public hate campaign against one mainstream religious group, we shouldn't consider how people would react to the same campaign if it was targeted at members of another mainstream religion?  We shouldn't do that because people might think we were committing whataboutery?

You ruddy silly plum.

Feel free, btw, to mention as much legitimate criticism of Robinson as you like.

Bloody hell man, this is a massive subject, whole books have been written on this, including by lapsed Muslims. If anyone wants to chuck me 10p a word I'll start sketching out a structure, but to cover it all will take a long time, so I'll cut and paste a few links for starters:

https://centerforinquiry.org/blog/islam-and-womens-rights/
https://www.theguardian.com/global/2015/may/17/losing-their-religion-british-ex-muslims-non-believers-hidden-crisis-faith

can't fucking wait for this "structure"

so far so enlightening

"Pay me for my opinions".

Big man on campus there.

Christianity is notorious for loving and including the LGBT community of course

I do wonder how all the faith schools will be handling the national curriculum mandated LGBT stuff.

Step 1: Ban faith schools.

WHAT EVEN ATHEEIST SCHOOLS?

tireless campaigner for lgbt rights, tomald robinson.

Yeah, I’m rereading the Lauren Southern thread, and it’s the same there, as with Robinson and Hopkins. Suddenly all worried about LGBT, when it gives them a chance to plunge the knife further into the Muslims.

As I mentioned in another thread, I was half expecting Waxy Lemon to declare that he'd taken his stage name in honour of the composer of (Sing If You're) Glad To Be Gay and not the football hooligan like what you thought, aaahh. Hopkins has kind of bollocksed this up for him by deciding she hates LGBT+ people more than Muslims, though, as I can't imagine them getting involved in a public hate-off.

Christ, you only have to read Waxy Lemon's wiki page to get an idea of what a hatred-inciting cunt he is:

Quote
In January 2019, [Jamil] said returning to Almondbury Community School was still too dangerous. He described living in fear after Robinson's postings because "there are people who hang around outside my house and video me on their phones. They call me 'little rat' if I go outside. One of my neighbours threatened me outside my house just yesterday."[89] His lawyers said Robinson's postings had made him "the focus of countless messages of hate and threats from the extreme right wing" and led to a police safety warning.[90]

Quote
In February 2019, using his Facebook account, Robinson wrote "I guess it's ok to rape white women then?" next to a Rape Crisis flyer about specialist services for ethnic minority victims, resulting in hundreds of racist and abusive phone calls to the centre from Robinson's supporters. The centre, which was providing support for rape victims of all ethnic backgrounds, condemned Robinson's post for "disrupting much-needed service provision for victims and survivors of sexual violence and abuse of all ethnicities and backgrounds". The centre included specialised services for ethnic minorities because "some groups of women who have survived sexual violence and abuse can face additional barriers to accessing services, including related to language and to the fear and/or past or current experience of racism and racial discrimination".[99]

Yup.  That's definitely what I took from that exchange.

so fucking transparent, isn't it. and the notion that it's some sort of gotcha for the people who don't think islamophobia is A Good Thing - "ah! but don't you lefties like gays? oho, check and mate from the smart man. let the pc scales fall from your eyes." yeah mate. i support gay rights, i'm a man who fucks men, i despise homophobia (yes, even when it's muslims). turns out this is entirely consistent with despising far-right hate preacher tommy robinson. come back with the vague suggestion of hypocrisy when we're all defending abu fucking hamza, kindly jog on til then, thanks.

What would they do about LGBT Muslims? Are they fair game?

Listening to Robinson’s Oxford Union address now; he kicks off by saying that the protesters outside are the real fascists. Okay then.

Surprisingly nervous and limp oratory so far, the sweat is rolling off his little fashie haircut.

They do not exist because Islam forbids it

"the definition of fascism is trying to stop people have a difference in of opinion of you".

can't fault it.

I met the gayest Muslim ever in Morocco. Dale Winton-esque.

Dale Winton isn't gay, he's dead.  Are you mad?

Oof, now he’s giving off about how the terms “Nazi” and “fascist” have been softened, and having a little cry over how “anyone who is critical of Islam in any way gets called a Nazi or a racist or a fascist.”

There’s a clip of Stacey Dooley having a discussion with Muslims during a protest, and it concludes with her being shocked at the notion this bloke thinks she going to burn in hell. She points out he knows nothing about her, and he says the fact she admits she’s not a Muslim is enough for him.

Which of course brings to mind posts made in this thread over the last couple of pages.

If, as Robinson claims, his problems are with religion and not race, what’s he going to do about eg the Christians?

Aye, the Jehovas Witnesses have in the past come to my house to tell me the good news about my impending doom.

And the Scientologists are pretty fucking scary and all.  Is it safe to say that?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology_controversies

Yep yep.

I’ve mentioned before on here that I used to absolutely hate being sent to Sunday School as a wee kid, and particularly remember being terrified that I was going to have to spend eternity without my Mum, or pets. Bloody hate preachers.

Years back, before they turned up on mass and got run out of town, four Britain First came to a council meeting about planning permission for a mosque. Three of us went to confront them. It wasn't very scary, three coppers stood next to us while we chatted outside the council offices. The woman one called me an "Isis lover" and the really fat one told me that they couldn't be homophobic because his sister was "a fucking lezza".

I bought a green polo top the very next day.

Truly the most shocking thing about the whole story. What on earth were you thinking?

Just tried to make myself listen to that Oxford Union thing.  Fucking hell, the man is either dim or so motivated by his own prejudice that he can't see his logical slips (which is surprising considering that he knew he was going to make this speech).

Got to the bit where he's railing about the domination of Luton's culture by muslims, who, he alleges, do not permit non-muslim events to take place there.  Not allowed to bring George's Crosses into local school but blah blah protests at parade for returning army "heroes", blah huge fair and festival for Eid blah blah, three day celebration for St Paddy's...

Whut?

But this guy is just a concerned neighbour, yeah?  He's not an English nationalist racist.  Right?

Not wasting my time watching any more I'm afraid.  The man's a hatemonger and he isn't even a good speaker.
