But it's music, usually sneered at suddenly viewed through a new prism, initially of ironic appreciation giving way to the discovery of some absolute gems.

Young Gun, Silver Fox is their name and they completely nail the yacht sound. Every song is a total smash on this album.

Look at that. I prophesied this. They were on episode two of the BBC4 doc.

Puckrick is great, she should be on BBC Four every other Friday night. Just her talking about the vast, Byzantine panoply of mainstream popular music in a funny, perceptive way.

If the so-called eggheads and boffins at BBC Four had a lick of goddamn sense between them, they would hire her to do just that.
