I've decided to make a joke about how she's got all PG Tips tea bags under her bed. I hope that's okay.

it's true but the person must be examined by a psychiatrist first in order to establish if they can be 'dangerous' or not.

Yep.  I know someone it was done to.  Their only thought crimes were being old, having a great deal of money that their daughter and her husband, quite reasonably, wanted to steal and only speaking Dutch.

The psychiatric specialist in the case was someone who'd allegedly performed the same service for other impoverished offspring.

They were locked up until the money was all strangely spirited away, then put in a home for the sane but old (after a specialist in their place of incarceration thought of getting an interpreter on the case) and finally escaped (with the help of some friends), penniless but free, back to Holland.  I am not even exaggerating.

Why would you want to sharpen a razor blade anyway?

She's been reading "Pyramid Power", a book that originally came out in the 70's.  She's got it wrong though, you were supposed to hang it *above* your bed.

I've found it now.  I got the title wrong, it's called "Pyramid Energy Handbook" by Serge V. King, Ph.D.  Published 1977.

MiL: I've started sleeping with pyramids under my bed.

From the book: "Even a six-inch pyramid suspended over a bed can have a beneficial effect on sleeping because the energy flows downward."

The razor blade sharpening tip was in Lyall Watson's "Supernature", 1973.

when I was engineering manager at Mtv, I had a chief engineer above me who was a bit of a hippy, mixed in with his jewish/mafia/sarf london organised crime background, & he was actually convinced that we could cure all the issues we were having with our video servers by gluing lumps of jade to them.

I fixed the problem with the servers by ripping out the fibre-channel hub the manufacturer had specified, & replacing it with a fibre-channel switch, then an experimental device costing ten thousand dollars.

still, of the eight or nine "managers" I had during my seventeen years with viacom, he was the best laugh.

How have I missed pyramid woo as a thing?

QuoteI have supposed that Egyptians were already very good dowsers and had oriented their pyramid by means of rod and pendulum. Being unable to go there to experiment and verify the radiations of the Keops Pyramid, I have built with cardboard some pyramids that you can see now, and I was astonished when, having built a regular pyramid and oriented it, I found the positive at the East, the negative at the West, and at the North and the South, dual-positive and dual-negative...

A new supposition: since with the help of our positive 2000° magnetic plates we can mummify small animals, could the pyramid have the same property? I tried, and as you can observe with the small fish and the little piece of meat still hanging, I succeeded totally.

Delightful.

Of course the big daddy of all pyramids at Giza has 8 sides, not 4.

PLEASE don't go the full Gene Ray and start going on about Time Cube.

What would be wrong with that? Earth has four corner simultaneous four day time cube within single rotation. Ignorance of time cube simple maths is retardation. Cubeless people deserve grave.

Don't y'all go trying to word-murder me, boy. I crossed swords with the real deal, back in the day.

I have a pyramid under my bed, it attracts healing energy and directs it upwards into your body as you sleep. It has to work in conjunction with other things though, largest piece of furniture in the room needs to be centred with the foot of the bed, ideally you also want a nice thick rug partially under the bed too. Bed should NOT be against the same wall as the door, nor should it be blocking the flow of energy from the door to the window. Two bedside tables for symmetry, and a solid headboard, which keeps positive energy around the head, neck and chest area. I can post a picture if anyone likes.
