This isn't a fresh #Cancellation.  It's just more victims coming forward.  I read about this last year.  Whatever the case, I'm glad to see him get his comeuppance and at least now, his fucking remake of An American Werewolf in London won't happen.  Bad enough that he rapes women, don't need to see him rape his Father's best film as well.

Compromise: Some of Landis Sr's films are good, but really only for the script and performances. They could have been directed by anyone competent to the same or better result.

So they had a conversation with him in their studio afterwards and also had him do a BotW episode too.
thing is he just wasnt funny at all on best of the worst. in fact he was actively unfunny

One of the most interesting criticisms that I can remember of The Blues Brothers was that for a film dedicated to soul music it reduces female soul singers to Aretha Franklin and then gives her the role of nagging wife.

American Werewolf in London is one of the best horror comedies every made. It was that part of the post I was talking about. I agree that Landis isn't a great director. His films can be flabby, blandly shot, and often rubbish but he his gold with AWIL
