Now Apocalypse (Gregg Araki TV series)

Disaffected youth, sex, weed, LA and aliens... yep it's Gregg Araki alright. Many of his familiar themes converging in an updated present-day setting. It's really quite a lot of fun. Anyone else seen it?

Love it so far. Was worried he'd be slightly hamstrung by a streaming service but he's been able to put all of his favourite songs in and just go completely mad so it's worked out as a brilliant medium for him. Don't know why I haven't gotten round to finishing it yet, I always thought Nowhere would make a great series and there's a lot of Nowhere in this (with the same alien design, even!). Loved seeing some previous Araki actors in it too, like James Duval and Mary Lynn Rajskub. Also I'm sure one of the main characters' was named Halstead after Neil from Slowdive!
