People who clap from the shoulders
« on: July 11, 2019, 09:40:16 PM »
You know. Elbows at 90 degrees and just mashing their hands together like a marionette.

Why do they not deserve death?

It’s the ones who clap from the stomach (or pancreas) you have to watch out for.

You get more odd harmonics when you clap from the shoulder. Sounds a bit reedy if you don't.

Does anyone ever applaud for any reason other than everyone else is doing it and you'd stand out if you didn't? I know I don't.

I've never been impressed by anything enough to feel like it needed applauding. Not ever. Everything's a load of old shit really, isn't it?

Fucking pah.

OP, is this your way of publicising S?-S!'s gonorrhoea diagnosis?  Because I think that's uncalled for.  We already knew.  We were just being tactful.

A little, but he's a bit too loose in the elbows. It's more like:

Mainly moving from the shoulders, and just mushing his stupid hands together. A similar arm shape you might use if you tried to crush again between your palms like a total lad.

Are you sure you’re not just thinking of people writing at the dinner table?

I was once incensed by a man whom I assumed was driven to always holding his breakfast cereal spoon like a gun, before he fired it right into a pheasant and we all watched a dying bird as a treat instead of eating Cheerios.  The “there is no spoon” scene in the Matrix makes so much more sense now, I tell you.

Only if their preferred method of making notes is in their mashed potato with a knife

That sounds very specific.  And you are certain they are writing at the dinner table and not just eating?
