Doctor doctor, one minute I'm up, the next I'm down!

I'll need to run some tests but it could well be an overactive thyroid.

Why did the pedestrian cross the road?

Due to the lack of a suitable bridge or underpass in that particular area.

On the way home the other night the cabbie said to me "I tell you what mate these days you say you're English you get thrown in jail" I said "really?" he said "yeah, these days you say you're English and you get thrown in jail" I said "when did this come in?" he said "these days you say you're English and you get thrown in jail" I said "what in a JAIL!?" he said "yeah these days you say you're English and you get thrown in jail" I said "what in an actual JAIL!?" He said "YES these days you say you're English and you get thrown in jail"  I said "are you sure?" He said "ha ha I love that joke from Stewart Lee I saw it on the telly the other day, it's funny because a lot of cabbies are horrendous racists"
