I've just now realised what is going to happen to my Youtube recommendations. Fuck.

Click on "History" on your Youtube frontpage (it's near the top of the sidebar on desktop) - from there you can delete each individual one of those videos by hovering the mouse roughly over the top right corner of each entry, and clicking the X that'll appear. (It'll be accompanied with a little pop-up note that reads "Remove from Watch history".)

The thing with the objectively-worst-songs-ever is that they are catchy enough to be memorable enought to be included. So, as someone who is a massive music nerd but literally watches these acts with utter confusion the reality is that you have to pick songs from major artists that you couldn't even pick. Take Rihanna. I am sure she has some merit but I couldn't name you a single song of hers other than Umbrella. It's these songs we are after. Pop hits that have zero pop sensibilities. As much as I hate Queen their music will never be the worst as I at least know I hate it. The sweet spot is finding a top ten of song titles you recognise but couldn't even begin to hum the tune.

Either that or anything Kate Tempest has ever done. I am sure she is a good soul with a good heart but fuck me it's music kryponite to me.
