A few years ago some of the celeb women on Twitter - Emma Kennedy, Caitlin Moran, that lot - did a day of Twitter boycott in protest at women constantly being abused on Twitter, which is fair enough if a bit lacking in self awareness. Are Graham was absolutely furious that the plebs weren't observing the day of action too. I think that might have been when I blocked him.

One of my absolute #1 pet peeves going on under that Ronson post, which is zealots pretending to ask questions like "I'm confused, why?" when they're extremely eager to rope somebody into a tedious back and forth and not at all interested in taking on board anything else the other person is saying but rather just looking for an opportunity to blare out talking points. It's a common feature on the internet, but it's absolutely endemic among the 'gender critical' lot, the most boring people alive. Also I know two people of South East Asian heritage who had a real struggle coming out as gay and bi respectively so I know that struggle with religious and cultural issues is all too real.

Yeah. People can call themselves whatever the fuck they want for one thing when it comes to sexuality, but surely "bi" is just a subset of "queer" and so she could use either term depending on how specific she wants to be. And that she has a boyfriend at the moment proves absolutely nothing. Lots of good GC feminists throwing her under the bus for being pro-porn and pro-sex work as well, though I imagine the "pro" bit is more "sympathetic towards the people in" rather than actively encouraging it.
