That was what I was expecting from the rest of the show though. Maybe not to that level of production but they could have easily had the ladder match on location somewhere to make it a bit more interesting, especially with Morrisons Parkour skills. Oh well

Anyway, who would have the thought the best WWE match in years had all the aesthetics of an X-Files Eastern European porn parody. Great stuff.

As I said earlier, I had heard this and AJ/Taker were shot like a film, so fingers crossed.

I watched the AJ/Taker "match" based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback I'd seen online. Maybe it was the lack of surprise element but it didn't really do much for me. Had a couple funny bits but it felt like it had way less ideas and "spots" than the Deletion videos of a similar ilk. I'm glad so many people enjoyed it but didn't float my boat so much. Still, hopefully the positive response results in Borash being allowed to occasionally do stuff like this more often as it is a fun diversion when done well.
