I do, but then this is going back a few years now to when loans rather than grants were still relatively new and fees were brand new and much, much lower than they are now. I believe the notion of students as paying customers has understandably altered things somewhat.

But then we are mainly a technical university and don't have any arts/humanities so not much scope for bringing in wasters.

Students that aren't from Dublin can't afford to go to college here unless their family is minted because the rents are so high. That's a considerable amount of talented, hard-working students missing out and the rich taking their place. What an awful state of affairs.
